Content
Pupils can select coding skills they want to develop
They can try out projects from code.org, Microsoft Makecode, and other online learning websites
They can develop and improve Python coding skills required for KS4 and KS5
Pupils can try out physical computing and program BBC microbits and make use of kitronik accessories
Pupils can develop HTML/CSS/JS skills to create a website
Pupils can participate in club challeges for points and prizes

The aim of code club is to give pupils an opportunity to develop and share their coding skills, this gives them the ability to enhance their logic, critical thinking, computational thinking and creativity
Pupils get an opportunity to work with other year groups and get support from an external volunteer from industry and from internal sixth form pupils
Pupils can choose to present their work to the group and carry out a share and tell helping to improve their presentation skills to an audience
