Hello and welcome to the Year 9 page. On here you will find details about important events, visits and other year group specific information including extra-curricular activities, competitions, and rewards.
Year 9 is an extremely important year for all pupils. After Christmas our options process begins, and pupils are supported in choosing the subjects they wish to study in Key Stage 4. A positive attitude and conscientious approach throughout this year will ensure that, next year, each pupil begins their GCSE courses with the highest chance of success.
Pupils also have many opportunities to further develop their involvement in the wider school community. If they haven’t done so already, this year is the time to branch out, join in with our extra-curricular activities, take on more responsibility and develop skills outside of the classroom.
