student Leadership

At Darrick Wood we like to offer our students opportunities for leadership development.  This ties in with our Life Learning Skills and developing young people beyond the classroom.  There are many roles that can be taken across every year group in a range of areas.

• Subject Ambassadors – 2 per year group per subject
• SEN Champions – 2 per year group
• Form Reps – 2 per form group
• Mental Health Ambassadors – 2 per Year group
• Charity Reps – 2 per form group
• ECO Reps – 2 per form group
• Head Reps for Form, Charity and ECO – 2 per year group
• Student Leadership Council
• House Captains – 1 student from each tutor group in Year 10
• Librarians
• Reading Ambassadors
