Clubs & societies

At Darrick Wood School, we are delighted in the number and range of activities on offer to our students through clubs, societies, trips, visits and events, Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards and year group specific trips and visits.  

The aim of clubs and societies at Darrick Wood School, alongside additional enrichment opportunities, is designed to help students extend their learning outside of the classroom, develop and improve vital life learning skills and provide the opportunity to explore and develop interests outside of the classroom.

Clubs and societies at Darrick Wood School help students to develop a love for learning in their own time, expand their knowledge and gain skills that will help them in their academic and professional careers. We hope that by offering a wide range of clubs and societies, many of which are led by our own Sixth Form students, we will support students to gain confidence and develop a love of trying something new.
