Continuation of the 6-week cycle Week 1 Observations Week 2 Artists Week 3 Composition Ideas Week 4 Development of idea Week 5 and 6 Large scale piece		The examination project starts in January of Year 11 with the project ‘themes’ being set by Eduqas the examination board, an example of a theme is, ‘Order and Disorder’ Students work through the examination project starting with observational drawing, researching artists linked to their theme, experimenting with a wide range of media, creating composition ideas, developing their best idea		The final piece is decided with the support of the teacher and completed unaided in a 10-hour practical examination under examination conditions in April
