Language Paper 1 - Writing Revision of narrative writing Literature Paper 1 - Shakespeare Analysis of an extract – key subject terminology, language, form and structure Essay - plot, character, themes, key quotations and context Language Paper 1 - Reading and writing prep Revision for Literature Paper 1 Revision of reading skills (Language Paper 1: two short answer questions, Q3 is analysis, Q4 is evaluation.) Revision of post-1914 text (post 1914 text is a choice of 2 questions on the whole text with context.) Language Paper 1 and Literature Paper 1 - Mock Exams Language Paper 1 (fiction) Literature Paper 2 (Shakespeare and post-1914 text)	Language Paper 2 (Non-fiction) Reading section - short answer, analysis, evaluation followed by comparison of two non-fiction texts Writing section is transactional writing – article, speech, letter etc Literature Paper 2 - 19th century and poetry Unseen 19th century – analysis of an extract followed by an essay question. No context needed Unseen and Poems from the anthology: guidance will be given as to which poems need to be revised for February PPEs February PPEs - Language Paper 2 (non fiction) and a Literature Paper 2 (19th century novel and poetry)	Revision of Literature texts and Language papers Public exams begin mid-May
