Specifics

  • Every Thursday Lunchtime 1.25-1.55
  • School Garden (Y9 Playground)

Content

  • Sessions will involve:

    • site maintenance (clearing encroaching ivy and brambles)
    • planting and sowing seeds
    • watering and weeding raised beds
    • growing vegetables/fruits

Requirements

  • Eager to help to improve the school environment for all
  • Responsible and respectful attitude toward using tools in the garden

Miscellaneous

  • We will aim to improve the garden environment and its sustainability.
  • We will create a space to enjoy the mental and physical health benefits of gardening.
  • Developing an interest in gardening and the natural environment and talking about career opportunities in these areas.
