- This project is a ‘Focused Practical Task’ using tools and equipment from Year 7 and introducing additional tools and equipment to develop skills further using wood as the main material
- Pupils will recap H&S in the workshop and will be introduced to several new pieces of equipment
- Pupils will be able to communicate their understanding of tools and processes through written work that develops use of explanation rather than description
- Assessment is holistic and ongoing throughout the design, make, and evaluation work with a final summative assessment of the product at the end
