  • Research Methods - Focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of different methods that sociologists use to investigate social issues.
  • The Sociology of Education - Investigating the roles and functions of education; The link between education and wider society, including capitalism; Factors both inside and outside of school that affect educational achievement; Government legislation that impacts on schools.
