  • What does ‘Sikh’ mean?

  • What is the Sikh Holy book called?
  • The core beliefs Muslims believe in one God called Allah.
  • Allah’s words are written in their holy book, this is called the Qur’an.
  • Muslims also believe that Allah has one final messenger called Muhammad.
  • Muhammad is therefore known as the ‘final prophet’.
  • The Mosque and worship.
  • To understand what the word ‘denomination’ and that Christianity has a number of different denominations.
  • To understand why the different denominations while part of the same religion will worship in different ways.
  • What are the different ways to worship?
  • Pupils will design a church which will incorporate the needs and wishes of 5 denominations.
